My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. Our reception place card holders were ornaments that looked like little snowballs. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. Everyone one received toasting flutes and champagne bottles favors from us as a token of our appreciation. As thank yous, champagne toasting glasses are hard to beat. All of our tables were magnificently set up and shined with all the glitter and glamour of the winter time. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. It fit in seamlessly with the pen and guestbook set I had purchased.
The handles on the personalized toasting flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true,for both of us. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.

She said it beats running from store to store and all there is to do is check them out, order the ones I like and wait for delivery. She was right, I even found the perfect wedding invitations to send out, and some other accessories, all at reasonable prices. Besides the invitations, I got a lot of accessories for the ceremony, at a much lower cost than I expected. I found a lot of my accessories for my bridesmaids, flower girl at a great price and there were unique ring bearer pillow wedding ideas to work with too. I was amazed at all the different styles of ring pillows.
They had all the reception supplies I could hope for. There were elegant choices of candles and glassware to enhance my tables. There was such an assortment of themed wedding and destination wedding ideas, and a great selection of wedding favors too. Some for a beach wedding, winter wedding, garden wedding and more, with beautiful and decorative favor boxes to choose from too. There were great little novelty favors too, like Vegas wedding gifts for friends and family, keychains, photo frames and more with a Las Vegas theme to them.

Our wedding décor and wedding favors seemed to make quite an impression. I got so many thank you’s from our guests for their gifts. I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. By that time I’ll know if she is having a boy or a girl. Then I can order the favors in pink or blue, even though there are other neutral colors I could choose.

I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. You’re really a life saver mom. Finding Great Wedding Albums for a Wedding!
Monday, November 30th, 2009After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. Since I had a couple of invitations I had to do over again, I was really glad I bought extra. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. With all the selections of beautiful beach dresses and wedding gowns, I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to wear. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.
The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.
I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two albums for wedding, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. Pictures of our satin canopy and flowered arch where we stood to take our vows was a definite must. After we were pronounced husband and wife, we left for the hotel to change from our wedding attire to our beach attire. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Our guests seemed impressed with the wedding accessories for our reception tables that were done in a beach themed décor. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. The little beach chairs I found worked out perfectly as place card holders and they made great little picture frames too. I really liked them and I’m sure our guests did too. Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. I added some tiki torches everywhere and put gel candles on all of our guests wedding reception tables to help add a touch of atmosphere to everything. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.
Now I can look through our special beach wedding photo album and enjoy that day once again.

Theme Wedding Favors!
Friday, November 27th, 2009I really like a theme wedding. They can be so much fun. I got to go to a really super wedding and reception last weekend. It was all done in a country western motif.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. What a wonderful place to start a new life together, it’s perfect.
She did a fantastic job arranging her reception. It was absolutely perfect. Wild flowers centered on each table really gave it that down home look. From the country décor to the themed wedding favors, everything was perfection. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. There were bales of hay stacked here and there with corn stalks on the barn doors. They had things for the children to do so they could have as good a time as the grown ups. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. It was the perfect novelty topper. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. There were also adorable little cowboy hats were the place card holders for every guest. I thought that was very creative.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The sun setting in the water makes a very romantic scene. The warm breeze and the sound of the waves simply adds to the ambiance of the ceremony. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. She made a lovely bride in her ocean blue flowing crepe dress, and he was such a handsome groom in his white linen beach outfit. The whole ceremony was absolute perfection, just like dream.
Their reception was more than elegant too. Everything for her table décor had something to do with the oceanside. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding invitations that worked perfectly. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.
I Love Themed Favors!
Thursday, November 26th, 2009A theme wedding is my favorite. They can really be a blast. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. It was a country western themed ceremony.
They chose a small country church to hold the wedding ceremony. It was really quite lovely with lots of flowers and candles around the altar, and satin bows and ribbons connected at the end of the pews. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The tuxes with the white boutonnieres in the lapels made the groomsmen and the little ring boy looked quite handsome. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They were such a lovely couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell at one glance how hard she worked at setting this reception in motion. Everything was fantastic. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. Her choice of themed wedding favors and country decorations was so fantastic. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. We were all having a fantastic time.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. I thought that was very creative.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. The country western theme was a blast.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. The whole ceremony was absolute perfection, just like dream.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding invitations that worked perfectly. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

Thursday, November 26th, 2009I needed some fresh ideas for my daughters sixteenth birthday party. My friend found quite a few party accessories and supplies online for her daughters celebration. So, I figured I’d see what they have. It was surprising to find so many ideas for party supplies for the tables and little gifts. I found a lot of nice stuff I can use for her party. There were cookie cutters I used to make cookies in the shape of the number 16 for her guests.
Since it was her birthday, I let her decide what she wanted and she decided to party at the roller rink and have her friends stay overnight. So I made the arrangements, and reserved tables with the roller rink in our neighborhood. I sent all of her girl friends special party invitations. It wasn’t nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. They offered pizza, hot dogs and soft drinks at a very reasonable price. At home I had everything set up for the party to continue. I put out the cookies I had made, along with a few other snacks, and set up birthday decorations.
The cookie cutters wasn’t the only thing I ordered online. Since I was getting by so cheap with this party, I ordered extra gifts from the selection of sweet sixteen favors for her and her friends. Each of the girls got a disposable camera to take pictures of this evenings event and a pink photo album to store them in. They all knew about the cameras, so they could take pictures at the roller rink, but they had no clue about the albums I bought for them. Even though they took a lot of photos at the roller rink, they all saved some picture taking for the sleepover.
Another party favor was a cosmetic bag with their first initial printed on the front. Along with that I also bought compact mirrors and manicure sets that matched their bags. I bought festive little favor boxes and filled them with candies for each of the girls. As soon as we got home, we celebrated with a sweet sixteen party with cake and ice cream and she opened all of her presents. We picked up movies on the way home for the girls and I made sure they had plenty of snacks and drinks, so they were all set for the night. After they got tired of dancing to their favorite tunes, they decided to give make overs and manicures to each other. From all the noise and laughing you knew they were having the time of their lives.
Finally, things started to quiet down and they broke out the popcorn and movies. I wanted to give them as much space as I could and not intrude on their girl time, but I got an invitation to join them for a movie. It made me feel good that they wanted to include me. After the second movie, one by one, they started falling asleep. All that was left was my daughter and I, at least for a few minutes. But before she passed out, she thanked me for giving her such a great party.
They ate breakfast and cleaned up everything left from the birthday party before I even got out of bed. I thought that was very thoughtful of them to do that for me. They shared a couple of more hours together and then some of the girls had left for home. Each of the girls said they had a great time at the party and they loved the cheap sweet sixteen favors I got them. It’s really neat being considered a cool mom.
