Finding everything I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception was a lot of work, but went I went to pick out a gift for I bridesmaids, I realized that the other things had only been half of the battle. I had a really difficult time finding exactly what I wanted to get for them. I went online and there are quite a few lovely gifts for bridesmaids and all that attend the reception. But the hard part was picking out which was the best to buy. I found some bargains on thank you presents, too. I also saved a lot of money on my wedding accessories, like the 8 piece wedding set that had my guestbook and pen, flower basket, ring pillow and more. I saved a ton on that. Buying them together rather than individually saved me a pretty penny.
I knew my bridesmaids would be thrilled if I got them an elegant jewelry box, and I found just that while I was perusing through the thank you gifts. As I looked, I discovered a variety of high-quality wedding jewelry boxes. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had some shopping to do yet for the reception; the ceremony was pretty well set. One thing that was on my plate, so to speak, was finding a wedding cake topper, and another was picking out wedding gifts for my friends and relatives, so I paid attention to those two next. I picked out some really cute bride and groom salt and pepper shakers and chrome bottle openers shaped like doves. Normally, I would have gotten some containers for the chrome openers, but the boxes they came in were so adorable that I just went with those. My man got the groomsmen a neat little multi-purpose tool that had a tiny scissors and a toothpick and all kinds of weird gadgets.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. I almost picked one out that had embossed silver intials and crystals, but after looking through a whole bunch of possibilities, I went with our mini bride and groom. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. I did go with jewelry gift boxes for each of them, and also bought a piece of unique wedding jewelry to put inside. What I found for them was a shimmering rhinestone bracelet. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. In fact I bought my pearl wedding jewelry to go with my wedding gown there too. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The girls really loved their thank you gifts and I guess the guys were happy with what my fiance chose for them too.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. Two single people drew some attention: my husband’s brother snatched the garter out of the air, and my sister won the bouquet toss. I wonder if this could be the start of something big? If anything came of it and my sister and his brother end up married, that means my sister would also be my sister in law. Only time will tell.
